The New Zealand School of Dance receives the bulk of its funding through the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC). In addition to this funding, the School has ongoing partnerships with several organisations and companies.

The Australian High Commission

The Australian High Commission contributes toward the staging of Australian work at NZSD Graduation Season. This year, the High Commission have helped fund the visit of Australian choreographer Frances Rings (Bangarra Dance Company).

The Church

The designers at The Church have created stunning work for NZSD over the last few years: our award-winning prospectus, posters, flyers and brochures to promote productions and courses.

Holiday Inn provide discounted rates to accommodate NZSD's national and international guest tutors.

Todd Corporation Ltd

The Todd Corporation has provided the Todd Corporation Scholarship since 2000. This scholarship pays the salary of one graduate from the New Zealand School of Dance during their first year dancing with the Royal NZ Ballet. Past recipients include Rebecca Tait, Rosemary Martin, Marysa Dalton, Hana Tipa, Adriana Harper, Paul Mathews, William Pratt, Rory Fairweather-Neylan and Kyle Wood.

United States Embassy

The US Embassy contributes toward the staging of American work at NZSD Graduation Season. In 2009, the Embassy have helped fund the performance of Paul Taylor's work, AIRS.

Valley Printing Ltd

Valley Printing Ltd works with designers from The Church to create NZSD's award-winning prospectus, plus brochures, flyers, posters and other marketing collateral.

The official wine sponsor of the NZSD Jewels programme.
