Get behind the scenes at the New Zealand School of Dance. At the end of every term, the School invites the public into the studio for a one-hour performance of classical ballet and contemporary dance. From bold new work to the traditional classics.

Showcasing the best of New Zealand contemporary dance by choreographers Michael Parmenter, Craig Bary, Victoria Colombus, Taiaroa Royal & Taane Mete plus excerpts of recent choreography by New Zealand School of Dance students from the acclaimed production ONE WAY. Come and be blown away by the New Zealand School of Dance at gale force.

The NZSD Graduation Season is a celebration of stunning dance performed by our freshest dance talent - students of the New Zealand School of Dance. This year's season is made up of two programmes presented on alternate nights.
Kylian programme - four seamless and emotive works by Jiri Kylian, one of the world's greatest living choreographers. Sponsored by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, this performance affords audiences a rare opportunity to see these masterful works in New Zealand.
Kiwi programme - five of New Zealand's foremost contemporary choreographers - Craig Bary, Sarah Foster, Raewyn Hill, Malia Johnston and Michael Parmenter - show their exceptional dance making. This programme features the world premiere of a newly commissioned work by Craig Bary.
