Tours of New Zealand School of Dance

The New Zealand School of Dance is a great place to visit, and we welcome school parties and tour groups. Our students are highly motivated, vibrant, self-disciplined and as such are excellent role models for other young people.

If you haven’t visited us before this is a great way to find out more about what we do and the services the School offers.

Secondary school tours usually last around 45 minutes (shorter for younger students) and will often include observation of New Zealand School of Dance classes or rehearsals and may also include a short talk from one of our tutors or dance students.

You may want to combine a tour of the New Zealand School of Dance with a look at Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School, or with one of our dress rehearsals or performances.

If you would like to arrange a tour around the New Zealand School of Dance please email Celia Jenkins or phone 04 381 9216.

I have had the good fortune to work with the students of the NZ School of Dance and am impressed with the artistry, technical level and versatility that the staff has instilled in them.
